HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} c. ROY{Sir Henry Royce} c. ROY{Sir Henry Royce}/GEA. c. Mr. Jaques (A.I.D.) Y12 82. BY/EM4/J.15.12.33. Aero Engine fuel. We understand that it is agreed that there is no necessity to obtain any further supplies of special fuel to specification No. 224 with 3 ccs. of T.E.L. per gallon for power curve running on supercharged engines, but that the leaded fuel to specification No. D.T.D. 230 may be used in place thereof. In telephone conversation with Mr. Savage A.I.D. we are informed that the A.I.D. have no objection to this course being adopted. Under these circumstances, will ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} kindly note that there is no necessity to order further supplies of D.T.D. 224 with 3 ccs. of lead added to same. BY/EM | ||
