LIMOUSINE CARS.
MODEL L628T (12 volts). MODEL L628S (6 volts).
These sets are specially designed for use with separate loud speaker. The main specification is exactly as Model K628 (without built-in speaker), but with a tone control mounted on the front of the set. The miniature extension speaker is extremely compact, enabling it to be fitted in a variety of positions, as illustrated on the opposite page. The extension speaker socket is on the front of the set and takes a specially shielded plug for either P.M. or energised speaker. The chassis case size is 8 7/8" x 9 1/8" x 6 5/8". Speaker, size 7" x 5 3/8" x 2 1/2".

MOTOR COACHES AND LARGE LIMOUSINE BODIES.
MODEL L628TC (12 volts).
This receiver, with an oversize speaker as illustrated on the opposite page, is designed for use in motor coaches, etc. The main specification is the same as for Model L628.

YACHTS, MOTOR BOATS, &c.
MODEL L628T MARINE (12 volts). MODEL L628S MARINE (6 volts).
These receivers cover the Trawler Telephony Wave Band from 1,000 to 2,650 kcs. (300 to 113.2 metres) giving reception of shore and ship radio telephony and weather forecasts.
The alteration from standard in the frequency means that stations operating between 550 and 1,000 kcs. (545.4—400 metres) on the medium waveband are not receivable.

AIRCRAFT.
A special receiver suitable for installation in aeroplanes has been tested on various types of aircraft, and exceptionally good results have been obtained. Particular attention has been paid to the reception of Brugh Hill “Weather London” weather forecasts. Full details upon request.

POLICE CARS.
The British Constabularies using radio-equipped cars for crime detection have selected Philco Police Car Radio Receivers specially designed for covering the Police Broadcast Band. Full details upon request.
