My Dear Hives,

Just a line to wish you a very happy New Year. I hope that you will have great successes during 1928.

If you have finished with it, I should be very glad if you could let me have the little Model Clutch back again as we have such an immense number of demands to loan this out. If you would really like to keep it, I will arrange to get another made, so perhaps you will see what would suit you best. I hope when you write you will let me know about the design question raised in my letter to you of December 20th. Since I last saw you, we have granted two additional pioneering licenses to firms in this country. As you know, the original two were The Bristol Tramways & Carriage Co. Ltd. and A.C. (Acedes) Cars Ltd. The pioneering licensee has, of course, a certain advantage in that it enables him to get pioneer terms, and to get well away with production before others.

You/
