To Messrs. Farm. L/Illo. C. to Mr. Ra/Hl. Ra/BAG. MYTH DASHBOARD. -------------------------- Please receive herewith the original of FL.421, Arrangement of Dashboard, Engine side and Plan - 2 sheets. The contour and actual shape of the dashboard is generally the same as shown on Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/BAG.'s drawing No.13003 - 2 sheets. We have arranged to use a standard Dagenite 12 volt battery and have provided a pocket in the centre of the dashboard to carry same. The Smith Car Heater is on the left hand side of the dashboard, above the passengers' feet. It will be necessary to approach Messrs. Smith & Sons with a view to having the de-mister outlet duct placed on top of the heater, as there is insufficient room at the sides. A standard Lucas regulator unit and cutout is shown. We propose, however, to use the standard Rolls-Royce five fuse distributor board, which has open type fuses, and not the Lucas 3 fuse distribution board, which has glass type fuses, which are not popular. The wiring, insulation and mounting of the dashboard will be dealt with in later schemes. EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JB. Original of FL.421-2 sheets to Ra/Hl. Prints to Mr. Ra/Hl.
