Bailey - Chief Engineer} With reference to Dunlop wire wheels, I am quite agreeable to arranging the wheel hub so that the greasing will necessitate taking off the wheel. This would ensure that the wheel is taken off and greased, and is ready for an emergency. I have also marked on the blue print several other little points that I think require attention. I should also like Mr Bailey to send me the final drawing of the rear hub in case there is anything similar. The Peugot control the end play of the front wheel by the larger ball bearing the same as we used to do, until we were told by someone else it was wrong; the reason for which I never found. I think we ought to go back to this scheme if we make any radical changes in the design, because in doing so we can save some end room, which may be very valuable. In other words the ball bearings can be further apart. R [Handwritten note in left margin]: X/B [Handwritten note at bottom left]: encl. Blue Print F3650 [Stamped diagonally across the page]: COPY.
