To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} X 500 a Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth.17/KW.31.1.36. 22-C-V.{VIENNA} C-16 Unit. Now that it has been decided to standardise the Borg & Beck clutches on 25 HP. after all, we wish to alter our previous instruction for this unit and fit an 11" Borg & Beck clutch. The one we should like fitting is the 11-A-3 clutch with green springs off B-15 unit, but with a new driven plate lined with moulded material (T. Fisher has one of these). We want the 3.000" operating lever No.2159. The short lever at the other end of the adjustable link will have to be modified to avoid a foul with the locknut, as has been done in previous cases. We should like a thrust bearing with an oillite cage fitting to the trunnion. T. Fisher has one of these. All lubrication to the trunnion should be cut off. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth. | ||
