Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your letter of the 1st instant.
With reference to shaping KB. for seat back, we are glad to know that you are prepared to make experiments at your Works. We have arranged for the former to be sent to you.

Regarding thickness, we leave this entirely in your hands. We are anxious to keep the material as thin as possible to reduce weight, providing it is stiff enough to retain its shape and be reasonably firm when fixed to the back of the front seat frame.

We shall be much obliged if you will deal with this matter as soon as possible.

Yours faithfully,
for ROLLS ROYCE LIMITED,
