Dear Sirs,
Re: Chassis 33.G.V11.
ref: CWW/JMW.4628.
We thank you for your letter of the 14th.inst
The windscreen wiper will be a standard Lucas and should be obtained in this instance we suggest from Sales.
The front bumpers are shown on FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}479, and the rear on F.CD.1489 both of which schemes you received blueprints with our letter BY.7/G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} of the 2nd. inst. We will see that the chassis has the correct bumper fixings, but the bumpers may not be fitted until the car is returned to Derby.
With respect to the heaters, we are arranging for the Experimental Dept. to send you a Rolls-Royce heater for the front compartment, equipped with defroster duct attachments, and suitable rubber hose. For the rear compartment, we believe we have already stated we shall use a Clayton, and this you will obtain in the normal way, which we believe is through Sales.
A Motorola radio set with push button control will be forwarded to you in the course of two or three days by the Exp. Dept.
Enclosed herewith is an Instrument Board print DW.984, as requested.
Yours faithfully,
For Rolls-Royce Limited.
P M Harvey Bailey
Chief Engineer - Chassis.
