-2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.3/HA.5.1.34. Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} The direct light is beneficial as an additional means of side illumination, but is distinctly intolerable in fog, hence the screen would only shield the top portion of the lamp bulb front, whereas in the Zeiss it shields the whole of bulb front. If the headlamps incorporated this bulb shield, upon operating the dipper the near side lamp becomes an efficient fog lamp, whereas at present dipping the lamp makes very little difference to the general glare. We are investigating the possibility of these lamps being modified at some later date by the introduction of the bulb shield suggested above. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. | ||
