Re: BENTLEY CHASSIS - STANDARDISATION SHEETS.

Kindly note the following Standardisation Sheets were completed
during July & August 1935 :-

Title. Series where brought in. Chassis to test.

Isolated change speed lever. 'F' Production.
New petrol pump diaphragms and bakelite valves. As soon as available.

The following sheets are in course of circulation :-
Lead bronze big end bearings.
Noise insulation scheme.
Nut, sleeve and stop for Bijur drive on starter motor with 4 start thread 30°10' helix angle - stronger pinion return spring.
Currus fog lamp.
New type Smiths electric petrol gauge - aluminium support - larger float and warning light contacts.
K.L.G. '850' sparking plugs.
Instrument board to RR.Sch.719.
Lightened Air Silencer.
Stellited exhaust valves.
Magnesium gearbox.
Lightened type torque re-action dampers.
Road wheels with improved locking nuts.
10/43 rear axle ratio.
Magnesium dashboard and clutch pit.
Exhaust manifold washers in nickel.
Magnesium intake bend and timing cover.
