X.8781do. PRODUCTION TEST OF DYNAMOS.

Herewith we return to you EAC. dynamo NE.35 having made the desired observations. We find the performance of the machine to be satisfactory to our present production tests, though we hope to be able to improve the performance of these machines generally and revise the instructions for brush setting and consequent production test in the near future.

Two little points about the machine should perhaps be mentioned; we noticed that the pressure on the control brush was a little over our specified limit. This would not be serious, but might cause a little more rapid wear on this brush than the pressure which we find to be sufficient electrically. The second point is that there is slight damage to the pigtail of the outer control brush.

Apart from this we find the machine satisfactory in every respect.

Would you now kindly EFC.
