STEERING GEAR.

F.T. HARDY

Please receive herewith FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}428 shewing revised serrations on the rocker shaft, as an insurance policy in view of the failure of one Phantom III rocker shaft. The serrations now shewn are those of the original design N.Sch.4789 and make the rocker shaft considerably stronger than the pendulum lever.

The parts affected are rocker shaft, pendulum lever, Perfect oil seal, steering box cover and lubricating oil pipe.

It is understood that there is no difficulty about getting tools for these serrations.

Please detail and instruct experimentally.

Future Wraith 80's, at least, should have this rocker shaft.
