PEREGRINE II CARBURETTERS. X

Future Peregrine carburettors should be built up to the following specification :-

Jet Needle (V.1439) .124 x .050 dia.

Main Jet :- Jet Orifice .120 dia.
.161 dia. hole increased to .171 dia.
4 outlet holes increased to .105 dia.

Diffuser :- 4 Discharge holes .098 dia.
Bore .171 dia. at top portion.
Top Bleed Holes 4 - .046 dia.
Lower " 2 - .046 dia.

Piston :- (V.1437) Wt. 13 ozs. Clearance between Piston & Pot. .003 on diameter.

Throttle Body :- to Lec.3157.

Choke Tube :- to Lec.3318

Air Valve Suction obtained by drilling .125 dia. hole straight through into extra Air Chamber, and leaving passage in Throttle Body blank.

Slow Running Jet. :- .015

Throttle edge adjustment R.R. two hole scheme.

Cap below main jet blanked in except for .156 dia. bore in centre to allow jet needle full movement.

Filter under slow running jet to be replaced by plug SK.9674.

Floatchamber balance to be taken from original position shewn on Lec.3157.
