X Future Peregrine carburettors should be built up to the following specification :- Jet Needle (V.1439) .124 x .050 dia. Main Jet :- Jet Orifice .120 dia. .161 dia. hole increased to .171 dia. 4 outlet holes increased to .105 dia. Diffuser :- 4 Discharge holes .098 dia. Bore .171 dia. at top portion. Top Bleed Holes 4 - .046 dia. Lower " 2 - .046 dia. Piston :- (V.1437) Wt. 13 ozs. Clearance between Piston & Pot. .003 on diameter. Throttle Body :- to Lec.3157. Choke Tube :- to Lec.3318 Air Valve Suction obtained by drilling .125 dia. hole straight through into extra Air Chamber, and leaving passage in Throttle Body blank. Slow Running Jet. :- .015 Throttle edge adjustment R.R. two hole scheme. Cap below main jet blanked in except for .156 dia. bore in centre to allow jet needle full movement.
