TIMING OF ENGINE MARKING ON FLYWHEEL. X.3520
Referring to your EH3/LG2619, copy of which you recently supplied me with, I find that we have not marked the position for retard or advanced ignition at all on the flywheel. In this particular point we have kept the pre-war practice. I am now therefore adding retard position for ignition, showing same for retard 10° after dead point.
In regard to marking the advance position on as well, the Test Department have asked us to omit this - would you kindly discuss the question further with the Test Department.
