25th April, 1935.

The S.U. Company,
Adderley Park,
Birmingham 8.

For the attention of Mr. Kent.

Dear Mr. Kent,

I am returning to you to-day 7 carburetter needles and seatings.

Six of these were supplied by you under Order No. 81575 and until we required one or two this afternoon we did not realize that they are not standard but have much smaller seatings.

The 7th is one removed from a customer's car which has only completed 14,000 miles. This caused flooding; as you will see the needle is very rough and grooved.

Will you please change the 6 for the correct type and send a replacement for the 7th.

At the same time will you please send 1 doz. large type spherical cork washers which fit into the large nut at the base of the carburetter. We will issue an official order for the latter.

Yours sincerely,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
