Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}
BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}
Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}

CJ pointed out that every week's delay in the delivery of Goshawks would mean that the shareholders would be poorer to the extent of £3000 and that every effort should be made to enable Sales to have a certain number of Goshawks complete with bodies at the time of the Olympia Exhibition.

Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} stated that, provided that the alterations were not numerous, he could begin to deliver 20 chassis in from 8 to 10 weeks.

The question as to what alterations had been found to be indispensable as the result of road tests was studied with the following results:-

1. Raise the bonnet and radiator half an inch. NO DELAY.
2. Front axle steering levers. NO DELAY.
3. Modification to carburetter. NO DELAY.
4. Rear axle shaft. The Order Office, it is thought, ought to be able to get the material without delay.
If this can be done - NO DELAY.
5. Brake straps. NO DELAY.
6. Brake drums. NO DELAY.
7. Shock absorbers. Design just out of BY's hands. NO DELLY.
8. The fan must be bigger. Designs out of R's hands, now in BY's hands. This could be altered after the delivery of the chassis.
9. Front springs. The alterations do not affect the top plates which have already been ordered. NO DELAY.
10. Valve rockers. IMPORTANT. Out of BY's hands. Involves considerable tool making and drop forgings. It is thought that 20 sets might be changed when the chassis are at the coach-builders or in the hands of customers.
11. Wiring scheme. NO DELAY.
12. It was agreed that the louvres for the earlier cars might be temporarily fitted.
