The reason we make this suggestion is that we cannot continue working with Avons unless we can give them more business, and if we do not have an alternative source of supply we shall still be entirely in Dunlops' hands if they choose to change their policy and prevent Indias competing with them on price. We are not quite clear whether for various reasons it has been decided that British Goodrich are no longer in the picture. We should be glad if this could be confirmed.
