O.2855) Concerning the special instruments, we understand the ammeter was received on the 9th inst, and the oil gauge was received from the makers on the 3rd inst, and the thermometer is promised for the end of this week. Please urge this thermometer forward as delay of the chassis is now getting serious. The special rear springs are not yet available and we understand delivery is expected from the makers on thursday this week. Please do everything possible to hasten delivery. If we have not suitable Wefco gaiters for these springs at the Works, please let us know when we will arrange for them to be obtained in London. Will Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} advise immediately, the present prospects of delivery of the semi-isolation parts, as Sales Dept. are particularly urging. Mt should note that these parts are to be sent direct to Sales Dept. labelled for the attention of CWB. Please adjust your blue sheet O2855 accordingly. We are afraid that unless the outstanding parts to complete this chassis are completed and despatched by Friday or Saturday next at the latest, delivery of the car will be affected. D/BP | ||
