| Re Cars in Experimental Dept. 180 Mr.Matthews. 5/2/13. AW/CP27/T5213. The following is an extract of Mr. Hive's report:- "1649 - This has an experimental axle with stiffer shafts all round fitted, it will be finished with on 6/2/13, and can then be got rid of. It will require several new parts to make it standard. When it goes in to Mr. Matthews, I will send a list of experimental parts on it. 1714 - Can be got rid of, we should change the body over to 1926 chassis. Several experimental parts on it to be changed." Will you please take this matter up at once with a view to getting these cars into standard order, so that we can arrange to get rid of them as quickly as possible. | ||
