Oy-19-E-92027 -2- September 20, 1927. Appears to give improved acceleration with our fuel, but of course we do not permit this as a standard operation. Finally, the narrow annular jets are scarcely practical with our fuel, unless we standardize some practical filter like the Zenith, because, both on the Silver Ghost and Phantom the low speed jet is constantly going lean by accumulating dirt. We should very much welcome a change to a "straight through" carburetter on the Phantom, and would like to receive early samples of any experimental carburetters which you develop for this car. Yours very truly, Maurice Olley MO/E | ||
