Proposed design for die-cast rocker covers with a continuous groove.

strip, forming a continuous lip round the inside edge of the cover.

These are being tried out on B.80 units in the garage.

Griffon rocker covers have a similar groove as Wraith and Bentley and we understand that this is to be a die cast job, provision being made for the groove to be incorporated.

This will only require trimming as an extra operation. Further investigation of this would be worth while, if it is considered that a die cast rocker cover is a practical proposition for our chassis units.
