O.E. Hunt, Esq.,
General Motors Building,
DETROIT. U.S.A.

Dear Mr. Hunt,

We have passed an order for a 1937 Buick through the British Agents, Messrs. Lendrum & Hartman.

We were particularly anxious to get the new gearbox with this chassis, but you will see from their letter, a copy of which we attach, that they state we cannot have this box as it is not available for export.

We are wondering whether this expert ban can be released in this case as the gearbox would be coming to a motor-car manufacturing firm, and not to an individual.

Yours sincerely,
