1158 Waller. I do not think we can risk ignition fuse blowing - Red light should be coupled to heater To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} BY/RD.6/B.12.1.39. CAR HEATERS. The heater circuit has been connected to the ignition, (Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux}1/MH.{M. Huckerby}13.12.37), to ensure that it is switched off when the engine is stopped. This has the disadvantage that a fault on the heater circuit blows the ignition fuse, this having occurred on a Wraith. I would prefer the ignition circuit free of such accessories, or alternatively, ask the Coachbuilders to put a fuse in the heater circuit. BY/RD. | ||
