Phantom III - Complaints.

The first Phantom III, 3RZ20, arrived here Aug. 20th. On the 21st a squeak was noticed from the water pump. As it sounded like the rotor blades fouling we dismantled it. The propellor blades were found bent and a lump of solder was seen jammed in the slot for the water outlet. Further solder was found in the inlet supply to pump.

We have despatched the pump to you as found, so that this trouble can be shewn to Sft.{Mr Swift} I am forwarding the bits of solder later.

While showing Sr. the plunger tappets we found 4 screws loose holding the dirt covers on the plunger barrels.
