SpectreCodename for Phantom III Steering.

We wish to try increased torsional stiffness in the SpectreCodename for Phantom III Steering Gear by means of the stiffer rockershaft shown on the attached Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2071. Will you please make one of these rockershafts.

As we shall probably have to try this in one of the original steering gears we shall need the latest type of outer race for the needle bearings to suit the shaft. Will you please therefore make in addition one race to F.87381. The cage for the inner roller bearing on the shaft will have to be split so that it can be sprung over the shaft.
