To BY/RD.... from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}29/N.29.6.39. Bentley Foot Switch - B.147.GP. - Stanhope Joel Esq., This owner has been unfortunate with his foot switches for the headlamps. This is his third failure. (1st) faulty contacts. (2nd) main coil spring broke. (3rd) small tension spring for locating the cam action broke. ( i.e. some one has brushed it off my desk) but the end broke off <--->thus. Is this usual or is it in your opinion just misfortunate? Personally, I think the owner must be very heavy with his foot on the switch, but at the same time it should not collapse. GWH.{George W.
