Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of your letter of the 16th inst with reference to air filter, and enclose pamphlet dealing with same.

We usually supply our AFN.type for S.U. Carburetters, and would be pleased to supply you one for trial purposes, if agreeable to you.

Do we understand that the dia. of the air intake is 1 3/8". If so what is the dia. of the outside of the intake boss, so that we can make the flange of the filter to fit over same.?

On hearing further from you we shall be pleased to meet your requirements.

Yours faithfully,
p.p.Frank Smith & Co.(Elland) Ltd.

(Handwritten left margin: H.V.S.)

(Handwritten right margin: We shall machine this to 1.7" dia.)
