γ 400 To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux}10/MH.{M. Huckerby}14.6.38. 7.B.V. - BENTLEY III. Will you please make up an experimental air silencer similar to that already produced and fitted to 1.B.50. to ECD.530 but incorporating the following features:- (1) Outside diameter 5.9375" so that standard 25/30 pieces instead of standard Bentley pieces will be used with adaption as before to suit centre tubes as in ECD.530. (2) Air bend from carburetters as existing. Flanges to be drilled to suit carburetter centres. (3) Overall length and intermediate lengths between baffles to ECD.530. The air silencer is, in fact, to differ only from the previous one in outside diameter. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} | ||
