Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} I am requested by the Managing Director to forthwith call attention to the Managing Director's memorandum which was read at the last conference at Derby, concerning the limitation of expenditure, and that for the future, no official of the Company, including the Order Office at Derby, may issue an order, or undertake liability on behalf of the Company until it has been initialled by Jn and Jn will be generally guided by the Establishment Charges and Purchasing figures of 1913 as compared with the output of that year, and in the future, multiplied by three. If Jn is in doubt in connection with the expenditure at the Works, he will apply to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} In connection with the expenditure of D's department, Jn will apply to D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}, who will, if in doubt, refer to the administration at London. The Managing Director's special reference to the following should be noted, viz., Any official who issues an order or undertakes a liability in the name of the Company, without the initials of Jn., will be personally responsible for the order. The Sales Department will not issue any orders or undertake any liability without the signature of the Managing Director or the General Manager. D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} | ||
