Attached is a copy of a note we have addressed to the people to whom the Daily Reports are sent. It is unnecessary to emphasize gearbox noise in future reports.

We are sending you under separate cover, pads for increasing the cross steering tube load. Attached is a copy of Hardy's report pointing out how these should be fitted.

We also want you to run with the hole at the valve end of the rocker blocked up, to reduce top overoiling.
