X 7270 X 5270 To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from E/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RHO. K/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}1/HP.27.3.34. Starting Handle Bracket Covers 20/25 and P.II. The starting handle bracket covers on 21-G-IV do not work nicely due to the centre pin becoming bent during the rivetting up process (LeC.3774). In order to overcome this we are issuing herewith LeC.3859 which shows a suggestion for deleting the rivetting entirely and utilising a concealed wire locking ring to hold the assembly in place. We should like this modification tried out as early as possible because if successful it will be required on production on P.II cars. E/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} | ||
