TESTS ON BROOKLANDS TRACK.

I am going down to Brooklands today and shall probably be there until Thursday or Friday.

Mr. Royce has expressed a wish that we should try the latest type of Packard straight-8 car as we believe they have improved their engine and eliminated some of the defects which previously prevented us from buying a car! I should be very much obliged if you would see what you can do with reference to arranging a trial run on one of these cars. We think there is quite a probability of a sale being effected.

We should also be glad if you could arrange for us to have the use of the open trials car 103-MC. for the day, on either Wednesday or Thursday, in order to make some comparisons with an experimental car we have on the track.

Will you please let me know anything you can by the bearer of this note and for further communications I shall be staying at The Hand & Spear Hotel, Weybridge.
