contd :- -2- Recent tests have shewn us very clearly that the method of manufacturing the plates seems to be the predominating factor in the durability of the spring. We are sending these springs into the Stores to be returned to Messrs. Woodhead. Now that we appear to be getting rid of spring squeaks with cadmium plating, rubber inserts with their consequent disadvantages are of no interest to us.
