PHANTOM III NO.8 (SPARE UNIT).

Obsolete crankcase.
Long type liners.
Obsolete 6 port cylinder head.
LEC.5320 small base circle camshaft.
Half Fescol and half S/ZN cloudburst tappets.

PHANTOM III NO. 12 UNIT (SPARE).

Standard production unit, incorporating:-
Packard type of balance weight crank LEC.5230.
L section 2nd. compression rings.
B side exhaust valves Sil.XCR.
Std. 4 port heads and non hydraulic tappets.

PHANTOM III NO. 14 UNIT (DISMANTLED IN SHOP).

Standard crankcase modified to suit 1 1/2 engine speed pump and 25/30 dynamo.
Strengthened connecting rods with production type big ends.
Hall's forked rod and W/M blade rod. 3 in AC.6 and 3 in AC.2
6.5:1 Comp. Ratio Cylinder heads, otherwise 4 port heads with solid rocker gear.
R.R Semi-split pistons.
Liners A.1, 2 and 3 Std. Sheepsbridge.
4, 5 and 6 R.R. cast iron.
B.1, 2 and 3 Hepworth & Grandage.
4, 5 and 6 Brico.
Std. prod. camshaft.
Magnesium lower half.
Reduced section rocker covers.
Fine grain idler wheel (Fabroil).
Modified I section bottom tappets LEC.5667.
Nos. 1, 2 and 3 blocks normal S/ZN plated tappets.
Nos. 4 and 5 " Chilled face I/C.
