FAILURE OF THERMOMETERS, CALORSTATS, & THERMOSTATS ON CUSTOMERS' CHASSIS.

At present thermometers, calorstats, and thermostats which fail on customers cars are returned to the experimental dept., who in turn send the parts to the makers for examination and report.

This procedure involves a large amount of correspondance and delay. Will you please in future return the parts direct to the makers in the usual way and ask the makers to send a copy of their report to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} at Derby.
