Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/K.F. Scholes, 25, Rue Gide, Levallois-Perret. H30 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/R.12.2.37. Replying to your letter of the 10th, I note what you say about your expenses. Apart from the incorrectly booked lunch, you credited yourself with a further shilling by not adding the total up correctly. We take a very serious view of outside expenses which favour the employee at the expense of the Company. It is seldom possible to check expenses, and, therefore, when a mistake of this nature is discovered we naturally assume that the individual concerned has been making some errors on other occasions. We shall have no hesitation in dispensing with the services of anyone who repeatedly makes mistakes in their expenses or time sheets. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
