GOSHAWK II. BATTERY IGNITION.

Referring to the improved ignition coil shewn on drawing LeC 1653, the internal H.T. connection on the coil is in the form of a nutcracker spring made from springy brass strip about .3 wide, one end being bent over and soldered to the H.T. winding, the other end having a button on for making contact with the H.T. terminal in the side of the coil case. The inner leg of the spring is suitably fixed by binding to the coil itself.
