You will recollect that we sent you up the Jarvis sports body to be mounted on chassis No. 17-EX, the idea being that on completion you should return the car to us so that we could endeavour to sell it. This afternoon, on the 'phone, we requested Sn.{Mr Sanderson} to kindly endeavour to ascertain when we are likely to receive the car, so that we may be in a position to give possible buyers some idea of delivery. Later, in the course of a further telephone conversation, Sn.{Mr Sanderson} told us he had learned from you that the car is wanted for R.{Sir Henry Royce} We have not previously heard anything to this effect, and shall be glad if you will be good enough to confirm that the information given Sn.{Mr Sanderson} is correct and whether it means that the car is no longer for sale.
