Dear Sirs,

With reference to your letter of the 16th inst., the Marles Steering Gear which was made for our cars was only run experimentally and was not put through an endurance test owing to its characteristics shewing no definite improvement over our present standard steering.

We therefore are unable to give you any information as to its wearing qualities.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
