LONDON. S.W.1.

(For the attention of Mr. Brooks.)

Dear Sirs,

Many thanks for your letter of yesterday's date, and for the information contained therein, we rather fancied that the Ferrox treatment had something to do with oxidation from name given to it, but like yourselves had no precise information. It is certainly interesting to know that you are also experimenting with tin coated rings in addition to the oxide treatment. Should we get any information concerning the latter, the Writer will be pleased to forward particulars as they come to hand.

With reference to your 'phone call this morning we find that we have a spare T-slot piston, and this is being despatched to-day. This piston has not been finally machined on the lands, could you do this at the same time, they are still oversize on the diameters, the dimensions used by you on your own Piston for the 4 1/4 litre Bentley are what we need.

There is one point we overlooked when despatching the other pistons and that is that we have not finally broken through the sawcut, could you also do this for us prior to tin-coating.

Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}
