WST Re Wiring of Accessories at Coachbuilders on 20/25 and 40/50 HP. Chassis. I have received Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}'s copy of your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/WST4/MA20.6.33. With regard to the unprotected terminals at the back of the instrument board, I should be grateful for your suggestions as to what protection you advise, and also to know whether you will adopt the same arrangements for the terminals at the backs of the ammeter, petrol gauge and instrument board lights. We certainly have not experienced any trouble with the unprotected terminals similar to those you saw on 104 MY. With regard to the headlamps being incorrectly connected, perhaps you will be good enough to let us know exactly what you found was wrong. With regard to Item B., these lamps were only fitted on as a temporary measure and were not completed. You will appreciate that we should like to improve the method of wiring, providing, of course, the cost does not go up, and any suggestions you have we should be pleased to consider and, if possible, incorporate. From enquiries I have made at "W" it appears that there are very few complaints of failures of accessory wiring. J.L.H. [Signature] I shall be at W on Thursday, would like to see you re letter. | ||
