SALES DIRECTOR'S OFFICE

23rd May, 1934.

W.A.Robotham, Esq.,
Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

Further to our conversation regarding the car about which I enquired for Mr. A.{Mr Adams} Gordon Smith, Lord Rothes has informed me that your Bournemouth Agent is able to offer immediate delivery of a standard Park Ward Saloon.

In the first place, may I thank you for the trouble you have so kindly taken. I must, however, explain that whilst I know that Mr. Smith would appreciate early delivery he would not expect to pay retail price. In any case, unfortunately at the moment he is absent in the States and I am unable to get in touch with him. In the circumstances I am afraid that the matter will have to be held over until his return in about ten days hence.

I really think the best procedure is to put a Chassis on order for him for earliest possible delivery. Perhaps you will kindly let me know the best you can do?

Thanking you. With kind regards.

Yours very truly,
