Extract from memo' Al/AH/lllll re Mrs. Nicholls' car for enclos-
- ure to Mr. Nadin. Nov. 2nd.1911.

X 653

This car has been in here to have a new cross
steering tube fitted owing to the thread having stripped off one
end of the old one. The old tube has been examined by the works
and they report that this is due to the lock nut having worked
loose from the jaw. The steering covers were full of dirt
instead of grease, and they think this indicates neglect.
