GOSHAWK ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.

With reference to the suggested wording on the warning plates, in view of the necessity of this being in such clear language that the amateur motorist can easily understand what it is all about, we discussed this with Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and SP. {Mr Spinney} It was generally agreed with C.J. that, subject to your final approval, the wording might be as follows:-

WARNING.
IF BATTERY IS DISCONNECTED OR CIRCUIT IS BROKEN DETACH CENTRAL RED WIRE FROM DYNAMO: OTHERWISE IF SWITCH BE ACCIDENTALLY USED IT MAY CAUSE DAMAGE.

I am therefore asking the works to arrange accordingly unless they hear to the contrary from you.

B.J.
