(e) Starter Motor Epicyclic Gear Casing - Fed through #1 Elbow Plug A-14614.

(f) Foot Brake Rear Equalizer - Fed at both ends see A-9278. At L.H. Side - through #1 Tee Plug A-14622. This takes care of the 2 L.H. Bearings, Equalizer Gears and through a tube in the bracket - the pick up Shaft. At R.H. Side - through #0 Tee Plug A-14621.

(g) Rear Spring Front Anchorage - Fed through #3 Tee Fitting A-14624 to inside of Anchor Bracket - passing by pipe on shackle to Shackle Pin See A-7701.

(h) Hand Brake Equalizer - Fed through #2 Tee Plug on L.H. End into inside of tube. See A-7701.

(j) Rear Shock Absorber - Fed through #4 Elbow Plug A-14617, through the packing gland into the shaft, down the lever to the upper ball. Oil flows down the connecting tube to the lower ball. See A-11307.

5. Front Axle.

Continuing from (3e) above oil lead down the main leaf of the front spring is carried to a junction on the top of the Axle just inside the spring pad. See A-14794 - From here it passes -

(a) Actuating shaft inner bearing through #1 Tee fitting A-14622 - from whence it passes inside a hollow shaft to lubricate the outer bearing.

(b) To the control damper anchorage through a #2 Elbow Plug A-14615, to the rear anchorage bearing from whence it passes through a capillary passage inside the sahft to the front. (See A-12556)

(c) To the pivot through a #5 Elbow Plug A-14618. The course of the oil after it reaches this plug and its passage to pivot pin bearings, thrust bearing, cross and side steering tube balls is shown on A-14979 (s sheets). The inner and outer pivot bolts A-12928 and A-10731 show the proportions that divide the flow of oil in the axle pivots.
