Dear Mr. Robotham,

Thank you very much for your letter of the 2nd inst.

I have been in touch with our Sales Manager in regard to the sale of our Lincoln demonstration car. The retail price of this vehicle is £1,895 but, in view of the circumstances, he has agreed to let it go at a special price to your goodselves of £1,200, and I shall be pleased if you will be good enough to let me know whether you are interested at this figure.

I am very pleased to hear that you enjoyed your day at our Dagenham Works and hope too that you will enjoy having the V-8 Ford for a few days.

Yours sincerely,
[Signature]

P.S. I am very much looking forward to the loan of the Bentley car promised me shortly.
