HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 44117 To EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} From BJ. Copy to Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} Copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Copy to Dlr 117-MC. Geoffrey Summers. BJ4/E14/6/26 With reference to EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}6/HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/6/26 and Ha/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LGo/6/26, I agree that we should continue and try to satisfy this customer and, if it is considered that letting him try some other springs may give him a good impression, please do so. If a method can be found to enable him to ax carry his spare wheels at the back, we should induce to adopt it. Also the new steering column support should be fitted if it is going to help, also the new Autovac and the scheme for overcoming the Servo Jagger. I believe he is rather a difficult customer but a good friend of ours. BJ. | ||
