-3- (6) (a) Secondary resistance after test :- 6050 ohms. Corresponding temperature :- 151 °C. Primary current at end of test :- 1.90 amperes. Ambient temperature :- 16 °C. (b) Secondary resistance after test :- 4950 ohms. Corresponding temperature :- 80 °C. Primary current at end of test :- 2.45 amperes. Ambient temperature :- 17 °C. (7) Coil failed after 2 hrs on this test. Fault found to be due to a short circuit on the secondary winding which was confirmed upon unwinding, the short circuit having occurred at the end of the 2nd layer. (8) Speed.
