To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Bentley Steering Wheel. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}4/E19.3.34
Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}E.BY.

Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}10/KW.13.3.34 I received this further sample of steering wheel with thinner rim. As I was going to use our Bentley Trials coupe on Sunday I had it fitted. I like it very much indeed. It is a great improvement on the standard wheel from the point of view of thinness of the rim.

I have spoken to the others in London chiefly concerned and they agree so that I should really like to change over to this type of wheel as soon as stocks will permit, and should be glad if BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} would in due course let me know when this will be.
