LeC.2924 CARBURETTERS.

List of modifications carried out on above carburetters.

Choke size should be:-
1.050 dia for Japan III units. (V1331)
.900 " " Japan I units. (V1332)

Main Jets.
.098 dia.

Diffusers.
Discharge Holes :- 6 holes .080 dia.
Top Bleed holes :- 6 holes .031 dia as drawing
Bottom " " :- 6 holes .031 dia but .375 below top holes.
Outer Tube holes:- 6 holes .046
Main feed in base of diffuser tube should be .125 dia.

Slow Running Jets. should be .025 dia.

Throttle edge slow running discharge hole should be turned through 180° on adjustment lever so that discharge hole is nearer top edge of throttle.

Passage from Float chamber to main jet should be increased from .172 dia to .213 dia.

Accelerator Pump.
Piston should be modified to V.1273.
Cylinder. the bore should have fine limit and should be .4531,+1/2 dia.
